We are so proud of our little girl!! She was 1 of 5 students in the Kindergarten and First grade classes to receive an 'Outstanding Reader' award. She also got a class award from her teacher this week for being welcoming and kind to a new student. Apparently Rebecca took a new girl 'Nikki' under her wing and made her feel comfortable on her first day. And she did this all on her own and without being asked. Again, I'm so proud of her. All the discipline and coaching as a parent to teach our kids to be a contribution to society really does pay off. It's wonderful to see her becoming this little person.
